Welcome! TeleSeminars provide a wonderful opportunity to
learn, connect and be inspired. In order for everyone to
have an enjoyable learning experience, TeleSeminars work
best when everyone on the call follows proper etiquette.
Please take a few moments to review the following information.

Calling Instructions:

Use the telephone number and PIN number provided to connect to the TeleSeminar.

After you dial in, just follow the automated voice directions.

When the instructor asks who is joining the call, please give your name, and if you like, your location. For example, you might say, “Kim, this is Susan from Michigan.”

If you “arrive” late to the class, just dial in and listen silently until you catch up with the discussion.

If you can’t get through to the call, check the telephone and pin numbers to be sure you didn’t misdial. Also double check the TeleSeminar class time or time zone as well. To determine your time zone visit: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Your Participation:

Please wait for the instructor to ask for questions or comments before speaking.

Please state your name before you make a comment or ask a question.

Please be mindful of the other participants so that you don’t speak when someone else is talking.

Please be courteous of the other participants by not taking over or dominating the conversation. You are welcome to make a point and ask questions, but give everyone a chance to participate, too.

Please avoid arguing with someone else who shares a different opinion or view. You do not have to agree with everyone’s opinion, just respect that they see things differently.

Please do not put down other participants.

Phone & Technical Issues:

Please try to use a corded phone if at all possible. Some phones (cell phones, cable phones and other voice over IP phones often bring background noise and an echo to the call) cause serious problems during conference bridge calls. If you must use a cordless phone please stay near the base unit so that you can avoid bringing an echo into the call. You may have to mute yourself from the call or hang up and call in using a different phone. Please do not call in from a payphone or phone booth!

Mute – In order to avoid others hearing you do dishes, dogs barking in the background or you having conversations with others nearby please use your phone’s mute button. If you don’t have a mute button on your phone you can dial *6 to mute yourself, and *6 to unmute yourself from the call.

Call waiting – Please disable the call waiting feature if you have it on your phone line. If you don’t know how check with your phone service provider or the instructions in your phone book.

Speakerphones – Please do not use speakerphones. They bring too many background noises and can seriously disrupt the conference call.

Putting on hold – Please do not put the TeleSeminar call on hold. If music plays when you place callers on hold, all of the other participants will hear it. Instead, please hang up and dial in later when you have finished your other call.

Confidentiality and Reproduction:

Please do not share the TeleSeminar bridge telephone number and pin with anyone. Participants may not record or reproduce the TeleSeminars. It is illegal to tape the conversations of the other participants on the call (unless everyone has given permission). In addition, there is copyrighted intellectual property involved. All TeleSeminars given by Kim Lednum/A Great Solution are copyrighted with the U.S. Copyright office. All TeleSeminars are recorded. You will be notified by email when the recording is available so that you may download a copy for your personal use.

Above all, please relax and enjoy the call!
